Joe Taylor (K1JT) has released version 2.2 of the popular WSJT-X program. This version follows some test versions that have been examined by many users in recent weeks.
The new version contains many improvements for the protocols FT8 and FT4 and is immediately available for download.
The changes: Improved decoders for: FT4, FT8, JT4, JT65 and WSPR;

Some translations have been updated. Mainly Asian;
Various keyboard shortcuts have been added;
The Hamlib library has been updated and adapted.
The most noticeable change is that of decoding FT8.
This now happens in three steps. The first decode takes place at 11.8 seconds. This decodes approximately 85% of all transmissions. A second decode starts at 13.5 seconds. A third decode starts at 14.7 seconds. The developer indicates that, especially on very busy bands, decoding has improved by approx. 10%.
