What is the purpose of QRP? Get as far as possible with as little power as possible. That is the challenge.
Now with FT8 it is possible to work half the world or more with low power, 25 watts. Even now with a low solar minimum. Is that fun? Maybe for a while. But eventually boredom strikes. At least with me.
With WSPR it is fun to test how far you can get with little power. But QRP is also possible with FT8. But does that also happen? Maybe a few amateurs who do that. But most people still use high power, I think. Anyway, everyone has to do what they like. The hobby has many facets.
Late last night there were nice propagations towards the USA. Best DX so far was KA7OEI Clinton from West Jordan, Utah. 7923 km, -27 dB. Yesterday I was spotted by PY2GN William from Pardinho, Brasil. 9856 km -26 dB with my 200 mW and wire antenna.
At nighttime no spots so far on 20 meter.
