A QRPp challenge 200 mW

This was yesterday. I couldn't reach the WSPR website, so I publish today. I was running WSPR on 20 meter with only 200 mW and a wire antenna. It's nice to see that though there is a solar minimum, we can be heard all over Europe. No spots from Russia and Ukraine yesterday. SV9KI had a strange locator, somewhere in the pacific ocean.

Band conditions today: SFI: 67 Sunspots: 0 A index: 14 K index: 2. At night 40 meters and lower will be good.

I think the Sporadic E season is almost over.

  1. De bovenste spot van SV9KI zal vast niet kloppen denk ik. Verder heel mooi resultaat. Ik kan me herinneren dat men vroeger op de WSPR site vaak QRP challenges had. 73, Bas

    1. Hallo Bas, nee die bovenste klopt niet. Nu met het minimum is het juist leuk om met QRPp te werken om te kijken wat nog mogelijk is. 73 Paul

  2. Good evening Paul, it's very nice to see how far just 200 mW's can go! When I was doing my miles per watt with a very modest attic antenna I was amazed how far such little power could go.

    1. Hello Mike, thanks for dropping by. It is still amazing what very low power can do. Just now with a low SFI is experimenting with QRPp fun to do. Have a nice weekend, 73 Paul
