Tonight we have the peak of the Lyrid meteor shower. Though at daytime there were a lot of meteors. At 10 h UTC we had 91 meteors/h so there was enough activity with meteor scatter on 6 meter (50.280 MHz) MSK144 mode. I was only monitoring the frequency. I heard 8 DXCC from Europe with MSK144 which is a perfect mode for MS, much better than JT9M.
On HF there is again a solar storm spoiling the party. It's going on for months now. I can't remember it was the same with last solar minimum. Though Friday I was spotted in VK (VK5BC) with 5 watts WSPR on 20 meter.
