40 meter SSB

I was looking for Hans PE1BVQ on 40 meter / 20 meter, but 20 meter was closed between 9.00 – 12.00 Hours UTC. Only 40 meters was fair. Signals came in after 9 o’clock UTC.

First I heard Italian stations, later on France, Ireland and England. I didn’t hear any station from the Netherlands. The only “Dutch” stations I did hear were from Lichtenstein HBØ/PB4PT and Austria OE/PA3FYG/P.

But I couldn’t work them. I did work HBØ/DL5YM Fred from Lichtenstein. Also worked SP5UUD/P, EJØM John from Arranmore Island, West coast of Ireland. GB6GEO John, IZ1UKF Franca (YL) from Italy. All with SSB, QRO.

Unfortunately I didn’t hear Hans PE1BVQ. Hopefully next time.

73 Paul PC4T
