The Radio Hobbyist placed this nice video. Here is the new ELAD FDM-DUO amateur radio. It is a full HF QRP rig using a direct sampling SDR technology. The multi-use 5W FDM-DUO SDR transceiver has been designed and manufactured in Italy using the very latest SDR technology, 10kHz-54MHz, Direct Conversion RX operating at 122.88MHz. The small transceiver employs a fast analogue-digital-converter that samples the received HF directly into digital signals, and a downstream DSP module provides for filtering and processing. Another ARM processor handles the signals of the control unit. Price: 1159 euro's.
OMG, there is a HF RTTY contest this weekend, and yes, I have to admit it: I hate it. There will be noise all over the place. QSY to 17 or 30 meter.
