Sota station

Most QRP-ers know that feeling when you are heard with 1 watt. No frustration because of not working DX, but just a station that copy your tiny signal. I worked S52CU/P SOTA station on 20 meter. One call was enough. He must have a low noise level without annoying city noise. I got 599, but that’s hard to belief. Anyway, nice to have in the log. The photo shows summertime I suppose.

I worked a Spanish QRP CW station today. A little short of 1,000 miles per watt...but so what! Happy to do it with my HW-8 cretin rig.
