Brazil with QRP

Saturday is always a busy day for me. Hardly any time for radio. But I tried JT9 on 10 meter; the first station I heard was PY5EJ. I called him with 5 watts and he replied to me. I was hard because I had a lot of QRM of strong European stations. I moved up a little higher, so we could finish the QSO.

Hi Paul.
Nice contact. 10 metres was alive today. Like u I don't have much radio time on a Saturday usually but tuning on 10FM today I heard a U.S repeater on 29620 at the yl's QTH with the little pro whip vertical at 60db over 9!

Good evening Paul, very nice contact I was planning on getting some radio time in but Julie and I were out and about. Maybe Sunday will lend me some radio time.

Hello Paul, sometimes it's great to struggle for a QSO, because it brings a lovely story to remember. The QSO is good for 1000 MPW. hi Well done. 73, Bert
