Dutch folklore

Dutch folklore in the city of Alkmaar, just nearby our village (just 10 minutes of biking distance) it's the weekly cheese market in Alkmaar. Of course it's a tourist event, but nice to see. I must admit: I lived for 65 years in this neighbourhood and I saw it for the first time now. ;-) I made this video.

Now the CQ WW WPX SSB Contest is going on, I will check JT9-1 on the WARC bands e.g. 30 m (10130 KHz)

  1. Nice video, Paul. Very good, sharp images. Looks like the Gouda cheese was a big mover. Didn't see any of that potent Amsterdam beer on display though. Looks like I will miss the Albany, NY Dutch Tulip Festival this year. Medical issues require my presence in France. Happy Easter. 73 Dick

    1. Hi Dick, no tulips here either, because of long winter. Still minus zero every night. Is was never so cold with Easter since 60 years. Happy Easter, 73 Paul
