80 & 40 m results WSPR

I started on 80 m this morning

After that I moved to 40 m WSPR

This photo comes qrz.com: the shack of WA0HQQ Al from Kennesaw GA, I worked him with PSK31 on 12 meter this afternoon. Also worked UR5FA/MM from the Indian Ocean (position: south of Madagascar)

  1. 12M is the place to be. Unfortunately just can't get anything to tune that band. Manage 30M but high QRN from somewhere near here.

That SP-600 receiver on the left was the one I used during my early USAF days.

    1. Hi Dick, when there is good propagation on 10, then 12 meter is most of the time also perfect. My new dipole works better on 12 m then on 10 meter. The look of the old transceivers look solid state. 73 Paul
