One year ago

Today my XYL undergoes surgery, hopefully the last one. It’s now almost a year ago that the doctors discovered breast cancer. We had a heavy year, especially my wife of course. The chemotherapy earlier this year was the heaviest part of it all. The last half year things were going back to ‘normal’ and life goes on. All support we got from emails, prayers and comments were very heart-warming, also on my blog. Thank you again. The coming two weeks she needs time to recover, and then we hope to leave all this behind. We go on with a positive attitude, and we are glad that we still have each other, and we are thankful for every day we spend with the family in relative good health.

  24. Good news Paul and hope the xyl's improvement continues. By the way, take care of yourself. I know, from experience, that we sometimes ignore our own health, being preoccupied with that of our loved ones.
