My village

The weather is fine and I made a small video impression of our village, instead of ham radio due to poor conditions lately. Though, I was running WSPR this afternoon and with 5 watts I was reported in VK. VK2UX, VK5ADE, also W4AC, KF3BH, WF2O and VE3DMU.

  2. Good afternoon Paul, thanks very much for the video it's kinda cool to see where someone is from and capturing it on video is a great way. Very nice village and I like the river nice to have that as a part of the landscape. Looks very peaceful for sure.

  3. Hello Paul:

Very nice to see shots of your local village - spotted some classic Dutch architecture - and the bikes! must still be very popular over there - love the music track too.

  4. Very very good Paul. I really like the town and the music is great too. Is it yours? It's always nice to see the bicycles and the leisure way of life. It makes me wish I was there!

  5. Nice video Paul. Actually reminds me of some in Vermont and Mass. The church looks like one near me in Amsterdam (NY). May be our own Dutch heritage.

  6. Hallo Tjeerd, dank je. De licentie vrije muziek op Youtube is soms best leuk om onder je video te zetten. 73 Paul

  9. Hi John, the music comes from Youtube, copyright free. So there is a lot of choice in tracks for background music in the video. 73 Paul

  10. Hello Dick, welcome back. It's good to hear from you. I think there is a lot of Dutch influences in the USA. The white church is a very old church. The well at the end of my video is in front of the church. Made by Willibrord, he was a Northumbrian missionary saint, in the year 960. Our village is about 1000 years old. 73 Paul
