10 meter was great again

It was great on 10 meter again with 5 watt WSPR. Reported by 63 unique calls, 18 DXCC, 19 US states, best DX VK5LA 15.997 km.

As most of you know by now, my wife suffers from breast cancer. She got a sentinel node procedure last week and and we got good news from the hospital: there is no metastasis. She still needs surgery in about a few weeks. But there is a good chance for recovery. We are grateful for all the support on my blog and e-mail. Thanks again!

  6. Great to hear the good news Paul, thanks for keeping us up to date. Julie and I have you in our prayers. As for radio yes the bands sure are alive and well these days. Here this weekend was the ARRL sweepstakes. One of the few contests I do not get involved with. So the bands were very much alive with contesters. As for me it was kit building instead. Again great to hear the news.

  8. Hi guys, thanks for your reply. Still the xyl will get a PET scan, so we'll have to wait for that result and to exclude other problems. 73 Paul
