Latest report

I do a lot of PSK31 lately. Using Digipan, which I like also because I can view instantly the multichannel window while I am working. With HRD or Fldigi you'll have to switch. Or when I use the mouse I must click for the window to appear again. Today I will pack my FT817 and all the other things I need for the mini expedition (HI) to the island of Ameland tomorrow.

  1. I can remember during the last solar cycle peak working PSK with my FT-857 on my night stand in my bedroom. I was using the Miracle whip antenna along with 10 watts and working into Europe. All from my bedroom...radio and antenna...great mode

  2. Hello Mike, I will certainly try the Miracle Whip next week, but the Whip is getting old, I have used it intensively for a few years. Maybe I buy a new one. Yes, psk is a nice mode to work with. 73 Paul

  3. Paul, dat kan met HRD/DM780 dus ook. Maar goed misschien is digipan wat makkelijker. 73, Bas

73 Paul

  6. Hi Peter, at day time I will be with the XYL and kids for the beach or walks or anything else. At night I will turn on the rig for sure. 73 Paul

  7. It looks to me like Digipan has been updated since I last used it (and switched to Fldigi). I don't remember seeing that mult-channel window before. How are you able to "feed" the multiple channels from one antenna, or is that a DX spotting window we're looking at?

  8. Hi Casey, I use Fldigi most of the time also. And Digipan looks very old. ;-) I don't know if it's updated ever since. With the multi channel I mean that I can watch all the other traffic and read it, while I make a contact. On one band. It's still pretty neat that way. 73 Paul
