Making qso's with JT65A looks a bit complicated. In a way it is. You have to find out how it works. I have now installed JT65A on my new computer and it works fine. While there was a little activity with CW, SSB and BPSK31, I was surprised with the reports as shown in PSK reporter. I made only one real qso with SA7AGE. But my signal was reported (received by) YO9BPX, HB9JNM, IK5FKF, PE2RDH, LU1WI (12540 km) N4AU, YV4GJN, SM7UZD and DL9ZU. Why they don't come back on my CQ call surprised me. Maybe they only receive the signals, not have the intention making qso at all. Other stations I received: K1KS, ZS4SS, JA4DGW, UN7DA, RU6HL, ZS2AZP, PY6HL, VE9NC, CO2IZ and CX4CR. I think that makes JT65A very interesting. All on 14.076 KHz. You can ask me: why don't you work them? I was only receiving while I did some other things. Hi. Some of them I tried, but I suppose they didn't hear me. I was using low power: 25 watts. But it should me more then enough for JT65A. You can find JT65A activities here.
