On 20 meter I worked a special event station from Finland with CW: OF5ØRR from Raahe, Finland. I was also listening on 14.076 KHz JT65A and it was very busy there. A heard a lot of JA stations with good signals. Unfortunately, I couldn't work them.

Yesterday I was heard by W4CQZ from Florida, USA with JT65A. I was using 5 watt.

  1. I really enjoy working special event stations. That is, those celebrating an important event.

I have no interest in a special event station commemorating, say, National Pancake Day. That sort of thing. Rather trivial.

You seem to be doing some serious 5 watt operating lately, with great success. Keep up the good work.

  2. Hi Dick, even 10 watts is too much. 5 watt is OK for me. I spend 24 hours contesting with 5 watts and haven't got no complaints so far from the neighbors about LFI and TVI. I can't enjoy the hobby when I know I bother people with it. 73 Paul

  3. Paul, you seem to be a very considerate neighbour. I 'd love to live next door to you! :-)

  4. Hello Andre, what is your web site URL? Since I changed the template I miss some web sites, maybe I lost your web address too. 73 Paul

  5. Hi Paul,

My website needs some work. It is a bit old and wonky. I haven't don anything with it for a very long time. http://homepage.mac.com/andresk is the base URL, but I have www.m0jek.nu, which I intend to use eventually ...

Thank you for dropping by and leaving a comment. 73 Paul
