Sri Lanka

It was early (06:21) in the morning, but I tried 10 meter checking for activity. I only heard 1 CW station; not very strong but finally I could decode the signal 4S7LXG Sri Lanka. A new DXCC, so I tried my luck. Yes, after a few calls he replied to me. That’s DXCC number 132.

  1. That a great catch for sure Paul, it was the same with me on 17m on the weekend it sure did sound dead and signals were just above the noise level. My contacts were nothing like yours to 4S7XG.

  2. Prachtige nieuwe Paul. Exotische lokatie, het oude Ceylon. Moet altijd aan een kopje thee denken....hoe komt dat toch ;-) Dit zijn mooie toevalstreffers. 73, Bas

  3. A big, big congrats, Paul. I hear a lot of "rushing" noise on 20M today. Builds up from S1 to S9. Then down again. Wierd. 73 Dick
